Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September. Congress made Labor Day a federal holiday in 1894 and all fifty states have made Labor Day a state holiday. Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer.
So, I'm sure that on Monday most of your businesses will be closed. But, the majority of you will be working at home, catching up on repairs around the house, taking your kids school shopping or spending time with your children...and your grandchildren. Whatever you decide to do I hope you have a safe and fun day off!
For Kim and I our return to the office begins our busy time. As I've stated in previous blogs...we're getting ready for the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association's 25th anniversary conference and trade show. I hope many of you are planning to join us and to display. The staff and board of directors have worked very hard to make this a special and memorable event. We're excited that we've heard from several past members that are planning to join us. So...please make your plans to be a part of this great time to socialize and network with your fellow NTPDA members!
Remember that the NTPDA is YOUR Association for used, rebuilt and new agricultural and industrial repair parts!
WHAT????? Labor Day is Monday!?!? YES! Only three more working days until Tuesday! Have a great time everybody...us? Slave, slave, slave...
