Have we stopped listening these days? I just got a phone call and I answered the way I always do..."Good Afternoon, NTPDA, this is Phyllis." And, this woman, very sweetly said, "Is Max still there...this is Kathy." She said it like she was good friends with Max and maybe whoever
was answering the phone. Then when I told her it was the wrong number (you would think that she realized she didn't recognize my voice)...she wanted to confirm the phone number. Then she started reciting the number - like maybe I was not telling her the truth and I was hiding Max from her...she realizes...oh, I do have the wrong number! Gheez! People don't seem to listen sometimes. I think we probably deal with that with our kids and maybe some of our employees. Or maybe it's what they call selective hearing. Some of you may experience that with your spouse (something Judy Chandler might know a little bit about)...but I digress! Just something to think about.
But, as you know we listen to our members and we work to bring good member benefits to you as well as ways that you can promote your business. Stay tuned for more information!
Remember that the NTPDA is YOUR Association for used, rebuilt and new agricultural and industrial repair parts!
