It's the week before Thanksgiving and I can't believe the time has flown by this year! I seem to always say that but it's true - and it gets more true the older I (we) get! So in the spirit of Thanksgiving I presume blogs should be about what we're thankful for! I'm thankful for the usual things most of us are thankful for - our family, our friends, our health and the fact that we seem to keep getting up every morning - working - playing - and trying to pay the bills! And one way I'm able to pay the bills is that I'm employed by NTPDA (how's that for a seque?) Seriously, I asked Kim the other day to check my personnel file to see when I actually started working for NTPDA - and much to my amazement it's been 14 years...and Kim has been with the Association for 10 years. So when you do the math Kim is almost the same age I was when I started my job - I wonder if she'll still be around when she's my age! Hopefully, the Association will still be around and the way for that to happen is for all of us to continue being a member of this Association and for the Board of Directors to continue to diligently work on ways to increase our membership as well as our member benefits! We have an amazing Board this year and we are seeking nominations for our 2012 Board of Directors. If you want to have some serious input into how this Association is run and if you have some ideas on how to increase membership and member benefits please give some careful thought into running for the Board. If you are interested or know of someone you would like to nominate please call Kim at 877-668-0900 or drop her an email at kim@ntpda.com.
Remember that NTPDA is YOUR Association for used, rebuilt, and new agricultural and industrial repair parts.
Happy Turkey Day!

It's hard to believe it has been 14 years. Time sure flies and it has all been good!
