I would imagine that there are some very happy kids just waiting for school to let out. And...I would also imagine there are some even happier teachers! The end of the school year can be a bit emotional especially if you're graduating from high school. It's the end of a very special time and the beginning of another phase in your life. The NTPDA is proud to be a part of this new phase in your life by awarding scholarships to well deserving students. In the next quarterly issue of the Bulletin we will be presenting those recipients to you. As an association we feel honored to have the resources and the ability to assist these students in their future endeavors.

Another election year...and there are so many promises being made. It just made me think about promises we make - in our personal life as well as our professional life. Have you made promises? Are you keeping them? Are you meeting the needs of your customers? If you have a mission statement are you following it? It's easy to talk about things you want to do but putting them into action is the key. As an association we strive to keep our promises and meet the needs of our members. It takes effort and dedication but in the end it is worth it.
