Congratulations to Terri Stevens at The Tractor Barn in Brookline, Missouri!!! Terri responded to the memo we sent out suggesting we blog about our members. And what a great way to kick this off and congratulate Terri on 25 years of (as she says) being "Large and In Charge"!!! Terri's business started in 1976 at a previous location and was a salvage yard. Then in 1983 it moved to the barn and continued to be strictly a salvage yard until 2004 when they started selling new Mahindra tractors and they became a Landpride dealer. Their area has changed a lot due to the selling of the farmer's land and houses being built on the land in 5 and 10 acre plots. The salvage business still plays a big role in their operation and is how they got started back in 1976. However, with the growing number of hobby farmers, the warranty and financing on new tractors is more appealling.
For those of you in Terri's area please stop by on Saturday and enjoy a party and some great sale prices. I know she would love to see you! Terri is not only the owner of The Tractor Barn but she is an integral part of the Association by serving as secretary on the Board of Directors for the past few years. Having members like Terri that are involved in YOUR Association makes this a great organization to be involved with.
Remember that the NTPDA is YOUR Association for used, rebuilt and agricultural and industrial repair parts.
Until next time. . ..
